Overview

E-Band Communications Corporation (EBCC) designs and manufactures the highest performance multi-gigabit capacity wireless communication systems based on 71-86 GHz millimeter-wave radio technology.

Headquartered in San Diego, California, the "wireless innovation capitol of the world," E-Band's point-to-point radios are designed, manufactured and supported in the United States. Our products are in operation with major customers throughout the world.

We use highly integrated microwave monolithic integrated circuit (MMIC) technology that enables EBCC to manufacture the industry's highest performance wireless systems with data rates of 1 to 3 Gbps and in the future 10 Gbps over the distances of several miles and availability up to 99.999%. EBCC's "E-Link" system operates in the E-band spectrum at 71-76 GHz / 81-86 GHz. The E-Band spectrum solves last mile access bottleneck problems, connects enterprises to fiber networks, and enables backhaul of mobile (3G/4G) and fixed wireless (WiFi, WiMax) networks.

Our competitive advantage...which provides our customers with tangible performance and cost advantages:

E-Band Communications has a long-term exclusive field of use license agreement with Northrop Grumman Corporation for its E-Band Monolithic Microwave Integrated Circuit (MMIC) technology. The highly integrated multifunction GaAs MMIC-based chipset is used by E-Band to develop low cost, high performance millimeter wave radio communication systems. This technology gives E-Band Communications and its customers an advantage over competitors and ensures long term performance and cost advantages.

The Customers of our multi-gigabit wireless technology include:

  • Wireless Service Providers, both mobile and fixed network (WiFi, WiMax) operators
  • Large Carriers including IXCs, ILECs and PTTs
  • Next Generation Service Providers, including CLECs, ISPs, and Cable Companies
  • Government Offices, including Federal, State, and Local
